In the technology industry, when the word "tablet" is mentioned, the company Apple immediately follows. The company was named for the fifth consecutive year The World's Most Admired Company by Fortune Magazine. Their dominance in the industry continues to amaze its' competitors and the world.
From their recent press release, Apple has announced the release of the new anticipated IPad 3 Tablet on March 16th this week. Apple's annual revenue since last year has climbed to $108 billion. A large part was due to the hot selling IPad 2 and its' earnings during the holidays. |
The new IPad 3 appears to be no different with the indicators of their shipments increasing from China. Technewscast recently has reported Apple's shipments of the new IPad have suddenly risen 20% in just one week.
To accommodate this massive shipping increase, the largest company in the world is utilizing one of their partner couriers DHL to do it. They will also be using other relationship couriers, such as UPS and Fed Ex. Apple appears to be preparing for their big launch of their new tablet. They will be utilizing courier services to help them deliver the popular IPad into the US.
Apple has recognized the value and advantage to using a courier to deliver their products. Couriers can very well be a smart move to use to deliver products on a local basis as well. Companies can use courier services like AQuickDelivery to provide same-day delivery within their supply chain nationwide, which can be a key competitive advantage. The well-known based Atlanta Courier can deliver various items, from small envelopes and packages, to parts and pallets. If Apple has strategically decided that using a courier makes sense, other businesses can also.
